Where most of the reviewers do agree though is that this portable air conditioner is capable of pumping out a lot of cold air.

One reviewer was disappointed to learn that a window vent was required. Although this unit is portable it does, of course, require that you vent it through a window using the vent hose supplied.

Several reviewers said that they thought that this Sunpentown portable air conditioner was a bit loud. Only one person commented that the unit ran quieter than expected. Most portable air conditioners do produce a degree of noise.
